Join our Sakyapa Dharma sister Maria Azunova, a Buryat-Mongol indigenous conservationist from the Lake Baikal region in Siberia who now lives in San Francisco. She is director of the Snow Leopard Network and will introduce us to this fascinating book and the wisdom of Western biologists, conservationists, and indigenous cultural and spiritual practitioners concerning this elusive, endangered Himalayan animal and efforts to save them and their habitat. This program is one of the temple library’s monthly “Let’s Open a Book and Talk about It” programs.
