Library

The Tsechen Kunchab Ling Library is dedicated to His Holiness’ vision of preserving and promoting the religion, language, and culture of Tibetan Buddhism. Consecrated by His Holiness on April 19, 2014, the library specializes in books about Buddhism and Tibetan and Himalayan culture for both adults and children. It includes works in English and Tibetan, with a small but growing selection of books in Chinese.

The library is open from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm every day, and the public is welcome. Staffed by a full-time librarian, Kalsang Kalsang, the library offers a variety of programs for people to attend in person or online.

Tsechen Kunchab Ling Library offers various joint programs with the local Josephine-Louise Public Library in Walden, New York.
