The Sakya Tradition

The Sakya Order is one of the four major traditions of Tibetan Buddhism. Since its establishment 900 years ago, it has produced a long line of great scholars and spiritual masters. The Sakya doctrine is characterized by the balanced emphasis of study and meditation, and close adherence to authentic sources of the Buddha’s teachings.

What’s new!

Each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening at 8:00 pm, Tsechen Kunchab Ling hosts a Telephone Prayer Gathering, led by a recording of His Holiness the Sakya Trichen’s voice reciting the Prayer that Saved Sakya from Epidemics.
